State Senator Joan V. Hartley (D-Waterbury) will be joined by other members of the Waterbury legislative delegation, State Representatives Tony D’Amelio (R-Waterbury) and Selim Noujaim (R-Waterbury), at a continuation of her ‘office hours’ this month. Two more sessions were scheduled for constituents to meet with the lawmakers.
The first of these, at which Senator Hartley and Rep. D’Amelio will participate, will be held Tuesday, February 9, from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. The lawmakers will meet interested residents in the parish hall of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel church at 785 Highland Avenue in Waterbury.
The following week all three lawmakers will meet informally with residents on Wednesday, February 17, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. That session will be held in Cedars Hall at Our Lady of Lebanon church at 8 East Mountain Road in Waterbury.
The three lawmakers will answer questions, share ideas, and take suggestions from constituents. They encourage participation in these sessions because information gleaned from them can be very useful for them, particularly as this year’s legislative session gets underway.
“As I continue this round of office hours throughout the 15th district I look forward to the exchange with residents. Decisions facing the 2010 legislative session will be pivotal in how this state moves forward in the coming decade. Your input is vital.” Senator Hartley said.
